Sean Talbott became interested in the power of motion pictures, and specifically the craft of cinematography at the young age of 15 when he was first introduced to the films of Stanley Kubrick. In studying his body of work he soon realized how influential the art of cinema is and that he wanted to be a flagship of that influence.

He graduated Cum Laude from The Ohio University School of Media Arts and Design with a degree in video production and communication sciences in 2008. In order to further hone his craft, Sean decided to stay at Ohio University, and graduated Summa Cum Laude with an MFA in cinematography from the distinguished Ohio University School of Film in 2011. During his tenure, he had the privilege of working on over 30 short and long form narrative projects both shooting and directing, and taught 16mm film production and lighting for video classes to undergraduate students for two years.

Sean currently resides in Los Angeles California and has been working as a freelance cinematographer and gaffer since 2012. In a relatively short time he’s had the privilege of working with clients such as Warner Bros, Disney, CBS, DreamWorks Pictures, Matel, Barbie, Chivas Regal, and Playboy. He’s currently approaching local 600 membership, shootingmultiple narrative projects, and starting a couple production companies that will focus on narrative feature films, music videos, and commercials.
